At-Home Learning Agenda

Be up front with expectations for virtual & hybrid learning at the beginning to help create classroom community & trust.

The 2020 school year is going to start as a hybrid school year for our community. In thinking about ways to make this work, I’ve come up with a daily agenda so that students know what to expect when they are working on their “at-home” days. During the year I can make more specific agendas with very detailed instructions, but as far as expectations go, this will be on my class website for them to review.

We are working in 55-minute blocks. We’ll have cameras set up in our rooms for the students who cannot be in the classroom and they’ll be using their devices at home to have class according to their school day schedule. I’m having all students sign into class every day so I can build relationships with them and do a daily check-in. There are 30 minutes set aside for working with partners or individually until they need to sign back in for a farewell.

You can have this agenda as a free resource- use it as a template for your own or just plop it into your own resources! Click here to download.
